We had our son’s wedding there and it couldn’t have been any better. Bruce and John were so wonderful, the place is absolutely gorgeous, the food was excellent and the staff was outstanding. We had the perfect wedding!!We can’t thank them enough especially, Melanie and Kathy for their help with the wedding, Annabelle and all the wonderful bartenders and Cammy and the waitstaff. The Old Saco Inn is a true gem in the ME beauty. Breathtaking views, amzing grounds /facilities and truly passionate owners makes this resort a must see. Bruce and John are great guys with a true sense of customer satisfaction. Don't hesitate to to call and book your vacation or events now.
We absolutely loved the Old Saco Inn! We have travelled a lot and this place is up there amongst some of our favourite places we have ever stayed. We stayed at the Inn for 4 nights and skied at Shawnee Peak which was around 10-15mins away. Bruce and John (and Izzy the dog!) were lovely and such great hosts. The breakfast was amazing and we felt really at home during our stay. We also ate at the Bistro, the food was great along with good cocktails too. We plan to come back here during the summer time as we can't wait to show our friends and family this wonderful gem. Highly highly recommend.
We had stop by last year for a drink in the pub. Jon was so nice we decided to book the Fourth of July weekend at the inn. Both Jon and Bruce were outstanding hosts they made us feel so welcome. We had dinner one night at the barn our meals were excellent and each morning we had a delicious breakfast cooked to order. We highly recommend The Old Saco Inn and will definitely be back.
