Always good service, and a great beer lineup. The food is some of the best BBQ in town, especially the pulled pork. Unfortunately the brisket and ribs can both be a bit tough, which is the opposite of what you want, but they're definitely still tasty. The sauces are a good compliment without stealing the show, and I'm especially a fan of the tangy mustard BBQ. Outdoor seating is prime, and there's extra parking in the back if the spots out front (along a pretty busy road) are all taken up.
Ill most likely be back. The brisket here is up there They do a really good job on it. It pretty much melts in your mouth how good brisket should. They have great Mac and cheese super creamy. The cornbread was also very good it was sweet which is how I like my corn bread. All in all everything I had was very good. Also gotta try the lemonade a1
Great spot on the way from downtown to the iconic Portland Head Lighthouse! Enjoyed a beer on the patio with some amazing ribs. Wife defined it as devine. Was a great first meal in Maine. Glad the pup could join us on the patio. Drinks were good too! Great atmosphere as well, love the garage feel.
Wonderful BBQ joint that earns its stars. Took the family here after some hiking having reading the good reviews, but wow- our expectations were surpassed. Highlights for us were the brisket, slaw, and collards. Dessert blew us away too. They clearly take a lot of pride in what they serve at Elsmere. This will be a regular stop on the Cape from now on!
Loved it! Amazing staff very mindful of what you need and if you are enjoying your food. I over hear them ask if a guy wasn't enjoying his beer and offers to get him something else he might enjoy more. The staff is very dedicated and they match the food quality very well. I will miss it when I go back to Utah. Very good can't say it enough.
