Such fantastic service! Our server was Justin and he took such care of my order as I have a lot of food allergies. Small menu, a little pricey but worth every penny. I didn't like the ginger beer that I got and they took it off the bill which was very nice of them! Highly recommend.
Had a beautiful dinner at Helm while visiting from out of town. The ambiance was enjoyable without a loud din to permeate your meal. Staff were very friendly & attentive. The oysters were fresh and scallop appetizer was nuanced and delicate. Drinks and entrees were delicious. Seems fairly new, so would definitely recommend checking this place out.
Low-key the best cocktails in the city! Actual adult, boozy cocktails that use unique, old world ingredients instead of relying on fruity stuff and gimmicks. Knowledgeable bartender (Gunner) and staff.
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal from the fresh oysters, crudo, hake and two lovely desserts. The wine offerings were excellent. Every dish was perfectly prepared. The restaurant is quiet and comfortable even though it was fully seated on our visit. Looking forward to a return visit.
I was impressed with my experience at Helm. The courses were absolutely delicious and were all perfectly timed out. I loved the concept of the limited item menu, allowing more attention to detail on every dish. They are also very accommodating with food allergies which I greatly appreciated! They're a favorite of mine here in Portland and a must-visit if your in from out of town!!
